Founded in 2011 by Andy Kaufmann and Mike Carithers, Catalyst has been serving the greater Central Illinois area with their high-quality construction services firm for over five years.
Andy has 12 years of experience in the construction management industry and serves as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mike has 13 years of experience in the construction management industry and serves as the company’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Starting this Friday, August 26th, at 5 PM Emerging Business Services will be hosting a monthly event on the last Friday of each month at the Slingshot Cowork Space in Uptown Normal called “Financial Focus: Friday at 5”.
Each monthly event will focus on a separate topic relative to capitalizing and financing start up and emerging companies.
This is a great opportunity to:

- meet local entrepreneurs

- meet people that are interested in helping others, specifically helping finance local companies.

Morgan graduated from Illinois State University in 2015 with a degree in Publishing and is a professional writer. She has had the privilege of working with a number of organizations, listening to their needs and helping to meet the needs of those organizations through effective communication. January’s Community Hackathon brought together over 25 developers and creatives to create a mentor platform for our local community over a 72 hour coding blitz. People from all over central Illinois came and learned cutting edge technology ranging from high schoolers to coding vets. The platform is near completion and the startup community is planning another hackathon for the weekend of May 13th to continue its development.
