Arnold Lovin has over thirty years of experience providing audit, tax and consulting services to a multitude of businesses in a variety of different industries including construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, leasing, and internet payment processing.  The last twenty years has been focused on the start-up and emerging companies of Central Illinois.

History

Mr. Lovin attended Cedarville University, where he served as Student Council Chairman for Community Relations, as well as Business Manager for Cedars the campus newspaper.

Upon graduation, he began work at Arthur Andersen & Co, providing audit and income tax planning and preparation services for numerous clients including Fortune 500 companies, Japanese manufacturers, political lobbyists, and U.S. Senators.  While at Arthur Anderson, he specialized in state and local taxation of multi-state businesses.

Following, Mr. Lovin joined LCI International, a fiber-optic based international telecommunications company, then The Limited, Inc. He served both companies as State and Local Tax Manager, discharging the state and local tax planning and compliance function in a fifty-state environment.

Mr. Lovin also served as Chief Financial Officer for Tower Communications Group, a satellite telecommunications firm.

Serving Startups

Most recently, Mr. Lovin has been very active in the start-up community in Bloomington Normal. He serves on several area boards, including Emerging Business Services where he serves as CEO and Capital Merchant Solutions, Maxlider Brothers Customs, and Mavidea Technology Group as CFO.
